Halloween Crafts......Getting ready to PARTAY!!!!

Yes, i am crazy I constructed a ghostly pirate ship completely from cardboard from a box i got from furniture store (free) aycrlic paint i already had, deco i already had, spooky duck pond game i already had, except pirate hat set, and lantern from dollar tree so this project total cost is $2..it definitly looks better in person, my camera sucks lately.

vampire i didnt make, but making bust are fun..got him a few yrs back at art store on sale like $5...but the glasses i made dollar tree craft again (kinda of a pottery barn knock off) candle stick holder, vase e6000 put it together and tada prettiness..lol spanish moss, mini skulls, river rocks, crow all from dollar tree the rocks i used chalkboard spray paint $4 wal-mart to make pb knock off chalkboard rocks lol but that just small amt of my millions of decor this is my 7th yr for party so we have good bit from over the years.

excuse the camera agian...the color of the buckets are dark pumpkin orange, but bukets lil less than a $1 each and names with permenant vinyl cut with my new cricut (love it)

maybe i will post some more later especially after the party sat...so excited am going to dress up as original disney alice in wonderland with old fashion dress. :)

Trying to crochet..lord help me get better. lol

 I crochet a stuffed owl (or atleast attempted to) from a pattern, only i used halloween colors. But he has no eyes and beak yet lol. so lazy of me, but i promised him before halloween i will finish him.
I really think am going to look up on some crochet classes. I really need them bad lol.

I also finally repaired my halloween wreath a week ago. It was bad, leaves looked horrible from being in storage, and the bird went MIA but he is ok he accidently got buried behind a container. Poor Birdie, am so sorry.

Anyhow, we celebrated my bday, because it was only day my best friend and husband had off near my bday. My hubby got me a cricut expression am excited to try it out, after i realized you could cut out letters and images on vinyl and fabric i told ray i had to have one. i got some money as well, got a few new shirts, some halloween stuff, and i am going to get some canvas and paint tonight. Well, hopefully i will be getting a nice sewing machine sooner or later, i really want to learn to sew more than a pillow lol. well, that about covers my boring life.

Fall/Halloween Dollar Store Crafts!!

Ok, I love this! You can use it to serve chips &dip, fruit & dip, or whatever you can come up with. all you need it a dinner plate, bowl or salad plate for top (i choosed bowl for dip), candle stick holder, or i used in the 1st one a wine glass, and 2nd i used a glass candle bowl, plus some glue E6000 its like $3 at walmart.....i added little things inside mine(optional) I used on 1st one some fall leaves and mini pincones, the 2nd put little mini pumpkins and spiders(fake..lol).  Simple put E6000 around edge of bottom base of candle holder, glass, or whatever you choose, then put in place on center of big plate, then add glue to top edge around and place center of bowl or small plate(dont forget your items in middle if you are doing that before you place top on)...I would let it set 24hrs to be safe.

TADA...a wonderful decorative piece for a party. i think am going to make a christmas one as well and put little mini ornaments inside the middle peice.

Second craft was one i did with my kids, they loved it. Guess which one is mine! LOL all you need is different size candle holder, artist paint brushes, and acrylic paint (color your choice), tealights or battery operated ones.....simple paint the main color inside & paint a face on the outside....when my kids go to bed am going to make a frankenstein....but anyhow great deco to sit all around the house at halloween party!

Simple Fall Craft!!

Well I had a hurricane glass sitting in my kitchen empty,  i have had so many idea to do with and i finally acted on one. so i etched a D into the glass using a dremel tool, then i added a little brown ribbon. I used pinecones from my yard (free, i have no clue why people buy pinecones), and fall leaves from dollartree. and TADA a fall decoration. Plus no need to put it up in storage after fall, you can change it up when the season changes. ;)

This weekend was great!!

AWESOME..What more can i say about painting in my house! I got to throw some new colors up on my walls, in my dining room & bathroom. I am excited about my bathroom makeover, and cant wait til my shower curtain and towels get here. Did a few improvements too. Next weekend I will paint my living room.I also had fun using a dremel tool to etch in glass, and i can say it was not as easy as i had hope. The tool vibrates and it was hard to have a steady hand. I want to try it on wood just to see. I was going to start to crochet projects, but since i was painting  in the house by myself it took more time then i figured for, but there is always next time. :) I also have two art projects i want to do, i am going to get 2 canvas this week for that so i can have new art for my walls.
Well am new to this blogger, but i will get around to taking some pictures this week of some art & crafts I have done recently and in the past. I am not a great artist, but i love what i do. The more art & crafts I do the happy I am. LOL Thats all for now.
